The PE1 Port Extender allows a single 8-bit relay port to be "expanded" to support the 12 relays in an Array Solutions Six-Pak as well as selecting the High Freq/Low Freq Combi with the CE2.

The PE1 also converts the 8 connect-to-ground (Active-Low) relay control signals to 16 connect-to-power (Active High) signals.
